Each organisation purchases a licence that permits AutoDownload to be used to provide timing, scoring, safety monitoring and results at the events or activities it presents. The licence fee includes software upgrades and support. At SPORTident, we believe that it is better to allow organisations to apply all upgrades at no additional cost, as it is much easier for us to support the most recent version. The software can be installed on multiple computers owned by the organisation and on computers owned by the organisation's members, in conjuction with the work of the organisation.
Commercial organisations that present events and activities purchase a one year licence at the recommended retail price. If the purchasing organisation is using the software for a sport based activity and makes NO financial gain from the events or activities for which the software is used and the staff/members receive no salary from the organisation, the prices shown below will be discounted by 30%. Examples of Not for Profit organisations are amateur sports clubs, schools and universities. Organisations that only put on a few events or activities each year should purchase an annual licence in year one and a Single Day Licence on a per event basis in subsequent years.
Commercial organisations that provide timing/results services at events they are not organising themselves are charged the Single Day Licence Fee for each day on which they provide a commercial timing/results service. These organisations are charged a fee at the beginning of each annual period which is equivalent to a one year licence at the recommended retail price. This pays for between 5 and 6 days of commercial timing/results services. Any balance owed by the timing/results organisation at the end of the annual period is collected by invoice. No refund is made if fewer event service days have taken place than have already been paid for. The timing/results organisation is not charged a Single Day Licence Fee when the organisation they are supporting has a current AutoDownload licence.

Organisations who already have a Five Year AutoDownload licence and wish to add additional sports or modules during the current licence period, will be charged the pro-rata price for the period of the licence remaining subject to a minimum fee which is the one year licence fee for the Sport or Module.
Single Day Licence Fee: £28, additional Commentary Module £10, additional Relay Module £10. Software support is available by email and telephone before, during and after the event, charged at £30 per hour.
All prices are in UK Sterling. VAT at 20% should be added to these prices if the organisation making the purchase is based in the EU.

If you wish to purchase a full licence then please use the Contact Us page to arrange. We will need your organisation name or abbreviation which is encrypted into the licence key and then appears on the printouts. We will send you an interim licence for two weeks and an invoice by email. You will return the money by cheque or bank transfer and once the money has arrived you will receive the full licence.
