AutoDownload - IOF Data Standard
IOF publish a data standard for exchange of electronic information between computer systems, using XML. The standard is controlled by a "Document Type Definition" file or DTD for short. Since the standard was published a more popular format for XML standards has been defined, called a "schema". We have performed an automatic conversion to transform the DTD to a schema.
Because AutoDownload has a few functions which are above and beyond some other systems, we have extended this schema slightly to allow for their import and export. These extensions are not believed to have any impact on other software, but just in case you have the option within AutoDownload to export in strict IOF format. The extensions can be found by comparing the two schemas, but they include some extensions for score events and some extra options for control details.
