Each SPORTident station records the time when the SI-Card (red finger stick) is dipped into the cylindrical hole. A memory chip in the SI-Card stores information about each station visited.

Stations can be placed anywhere and it is easy to dip the SI-Card from any angle. SPORTident equipment is very robust and will cope with rough treatment. It is also waterproof, which makes it suitable for use both in the playground and in the gym.

The information for each pupil is stored on the card they are using. At the end of an exercise, results for each pupil are printed on a small thermal printout and given to them. The pupil is able to make comparisons with a previous attempt or to compare a performance with a friend.
