The SPORTident BSF9 is the latest addition in the series of SPORTident stations. It features a completely new housing while being compatible in size with the BSF8.

The new housing is extremely stable and robust. It fits into the BSF8 mounting plate. In addition, there are four mounting holes. This enables a direct mounting of the station for permanent and semi-permanent fixed control stations as well as the usage of fixings for anti-theft purposes.

The stations bottom plate is attached using four screws and a silicon like sealant is no longer required. This is not only more sustainable and environmentally friendly but also makes it easier to service the station. The station typically only needs to be serviced when the battery needs to be exchanged after some years of operation.

The BSF9 station always comes with status/service display on top. Readability of the LCD is improved by using a new background contrast colour. Other improvements are the LED’s for optical feedback signals. The LED’s are now placed round about the punching hole and cannot be covered by athlete’s hand.

In terms of functionality, the BSF9 Station works exactly like the BSF8 and can be configured in all operating modes. It supports classic punching and contactless AIR+ mode.  It can be programmed as:
