SIACS and SI-Cards
SI-Cards are lightweight and durable timing chips used to collect electronic punches from checkpoints and can be used at a wide range of events. The data is stored on the card and at the end of each event the cards are downloaded and the data is used to process the score/time for each competitor or team. The card can be attached using a Tyvek wrist strap, an elastic finger strap or a lanyard worn round the neck.

SIAC Active Card includes an elastic Finger Loop 14cm (orienteering) or a Wristband 25cm (MTB events or trail races)
The SIAC holds 128 timestamps. When timing data is written to the SIAC at a control, the translucent tip produces several vivid flashes and the SIAC makes several shrill beeps to confirm success. The SIAC has a 2 year warranty and the battery should last 3 years. The battery can be replaced by returning the SIAC to SPORTident and the current cost is £15.
The SIAC is used for almost all MTB Enduro events worldwide. It is perfect for ALL orienteering events and when used contactlessly, you only need to pass within 0.5M of a control. The SIAC can also be used at events with Direct Punching where you dip it in the station, just like any other SI-Card.

Supercedes and is faster than the SI-Card 6, nearly 3 times faster than an SI-Card 5. It has 53 punch capacity (50 punches with time and control number, start time, check time, finish time)

Faster punching than the SI-Card 6, nearly 3 times faster than an SI-Card 5. 33 punch capacity (30 punches with time and control number, start time, check time, finish time)
